My Ears

They are much better, but I am still bound in the cone of silence which is leading to plenty of sad face and moping around. I find it very hard to hold a grudge tho, so can not find it within myself to completely shun those who put this horrid contraption on me. My ears are healing nicely say MamaBean, and I have been comforted by my great friend Hugo Hippo. Yeah, my support system is enviable.

Such a sad day

Our thoughts are with Christchurch today, and we are so proud of how quickly the USA and Australia has come to our aid, not to mention how regular kiwis are getting stuck in with the rescue efforts and our own military's effective mobilization. The images last night truly shocked the nation, and infact the world. We are thankful for our safty and health here in Wellington, and Bang!'s ear problem seems so much less serious, and puts everything into perspective. Some worrisome news

Hello readers, MamaBean here, sorry it's been a while since the last update, but our internet has been down for a while. Bang! Isn't doing so well at the moment either, she has always scratched her ears more than normal kitties, but this week she has been scratching herself so much that she jeeps making her ears bleed, and has made scabs come up in her mustache. We have tried clipping her claws and using ear cream from the vets, but she still scratches herself raw. We are going to see if we can get a cone of silence from the vets tomorrow to give her ears a chance to heal. If you have any ideas on how to ease her pain and itchiness, please leave us some suggestions!

Still summer

I am so glad it is still summer here in New Zealand. The sun puddles are just fine, and my napping has been kept up to date. Speaking of napping, I have created a new nest. DaddyBean moved some things around under the bed, so now there is a wee spot, just big enough for me. I have been spending lots of time there, and freaking MamaBean out when she can't find me hehe!!
